Retro Game Dude visits Last Level Games!

Last Level Games - Store Front

On Friday 10th August 2018, I discovered this awesome retro game store in Norwich, which I didn’t know exisited until I found it on Google. After finding it online, I ventured down St Benedict’s Street in Norwich, and found the store I had been looking for. Luckily for me the store was still open, and so I wondered in!

It’s been years since I last visited a retro game store (most of the ones near where I live have since closed) and was nice to see one still going strong in Norwich. I still prefer a retro games store over a modern games store, since there’s no better feeling than nostalgia!

When I entered the store, I noticed that most of the games and consoles from my childhood was on display, and felt like I had travelled back in time, and suddenly everything was good again. I could feel the nostalgia kicking in, and couldn’t help but feel excited.

At first, I thought that the store felt rather small inside, but then I found out from the owner that there’s a back room with even more for sale, which I thought was which was pretty cool. I did have a browse through the store’s collection, and was really impressed with all the retro games, consoles, accessories and more for sale. There’s also some imports for sale there too, which is awesome!

Back Room

Last Level Games felt very welcoming when I visited, and Ed the owner was very helpful, and reccomended some games I might be interested in. I found the prices in store very reasonable, and also liked the fact that all products in store are hand tested, cleaned and often refurbished to make sure items reach you in the best possible condition.

Furthermore, the store lets customers sell any unwanted games or consoles, or trade them in for something else. If you get in touch, they can offer you a validation of your goods.

I would definitely recommend this store to any retro gamers out there, who either live in the local area, or are visiting Norwich. The store can be found at 64 St. Benedicts Street and more information about Last Level Games can be found on their website. Also make sure to give them a follow on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for regular updates.
